By Car

Approach via Great Western Road. Follow signs for Gartnavel Hospital. If heading northwest, the Gartnavel Hospital entrance will be on your left. If heading southeast on Great Western Road the entrance will be on your right.

At the Gartnavel Hospital entrance traffic lights, turn in, pass the entrance and carpark to the Pond Hotel (Shelley Road) follow this road for a further 150m until the road narrows, The Calman Centre and small car park is on the left.

By Bus

Numbers 6 and 20 take you closest to The Calman Centre. Alight the bus at The Pond Hotel. Continue walking along Shelley Road with the hotel on your right, you walk you will pass Bingham’s Pond (also on your right). The centre is situated just further up the road an on your left hand side.

By Train

If you are travelling to Cancer Support Scotland, the closest train station to The Calman Centre is Hyndland. Once alighting from the train, take the exit sign posted for Gartnavel Hospital which will bring you immediately into the Gartnavel Complex.

Once entering the hospital grounds keep walking straight ahead with the hospital buildings on your left hand side. Eventually the buildings will come to an end and you arrive at a set of traffic lights with Shelley Road on your left. Take a left here and then keep walking straight ahead. You will pass The Pond Hotel and Bingham’s Pond (both on your right). The centre is situated past the staff car parks further up the road on your left hand side. We are in a converted Chapel. The walk from Hyndland Station to The Calman Centre will take around 5 – 10 minutes.
