Roll up, roll up!
Cancer Support Scotland and our fundraising volunteers are putting on a fantastic Gala Day with entertainment for everyone. As well as a chocolate fountain and face painting there'll be lots of classic carnival amusement stalls for kids and adults to try their luck at...and it's free entry! There will also be healthy food available on the day provided by Food in the Hood.
The event will give us the opportunity to thank our incredible volunteer team for everything they do for our charity. All Cancer Support Scotland volunteers will receive vouchers for the food trucks and stalls and will get a free go at one of the stalls as a small token of our appreciation for the ways in which they support us. Come along and help us celebrate them!
We're also delighted to welcome brother and sister John Maxwell Geddes and Jacqui McColl who will be hosting drop-in workshops for children throughout the day. Artist and puppeteer Jacqui will be teaching mask-making and composer John, who supported us in January with a wonderful talk on his life and music, will be doing a music-based workshop.
Amusement stalls will include:
- Hook-a-Duck
- The Coconut Shy
- Coin Toss (win a bottle of booze!)
- Hoopla
- Tin Can Alley
...and much more. Collect tickets if you win a game and use them to pick up prizes - the more you collect the better the prize!
There will be no tickets for this event as it is free entry. However, if you would like more information please don't hesitate to get in touch with us on 0141 337 8199 or email [email protected].
