Leaving a gift in your will
Legacy gifts make life changing experiences possible:
“Physically and emotionally, I would have been poorer without this service. The sessions I have received at the Calman centre have been hugely important in my recovery from cancer. This is an ongoing journey, but I feel very fortunate to have received such wonderful support.” – Claire
“I would have suffered in silence without this. The service is an oasis of help and support and gives you a wonderful sense of worth and normality.” – Stephen
Cancer Support Scotland deliver professional digital and face to face counselling; our ‘Here For You’ telephone service; virtual and face to face stress management courses and an extensive Self-Help section on our website, to support the mental wellbeing of anyone affected by cancer and enable them to continue to live the most active life possible in their community.
Thank You
Every year, 2,000 counselling appointments are funded by the wonderful people who remember us in their will. By joining them and pledging a legacy, you can ensure that no one in Scotland has to face cancer without mental health support. You can create a better future for anyone affected by cancer.
We understand that writing a will is a very personal statement of your wishes for the future. But by leaving a gift to Cancer Support Scotland, you’ll touch the lives of people like Claire and Stephen; helping fund the support they need, when they need it most.
Anyone can leave a gift in their will. You can choose to gift a fixed amount, you can set up your gift as a percentage or as anything remaining after your loved ones are taken care of. This means you can be sure it will align with your inheritance wishes no matter what happens in the future.
Once you have provided for your loved ones, please consider leaving a gift to Cancer Support Scotland. For more information on how to leave a gift in your will, take a look at the Remember a Charity website.
