The Baillieston Bowling Club held a ladies night in aid of Cancer Support Scotland and raised a fantastic £1,800! Thank you to everyone who attended and donated! We hope you had a fantastic night!
Lydia Jack also held a fundraising evening in aid of Cancer Support Scotland and raised a stupendous £1,404!! We know many friends and family attended and helped Lydia with this event so a big thank you to you all! And especially to Lydia for thinking of us!
We were so pleased to hear that our supporter, Adele Mitchell, held her fundraising event in aid of ourselves and CHAS and also received lots of support from a Glasgow Businessman and the likes of Ed Sheeran! Well done Adele! We are looking forward to hearing the final total and to seeing some piccies from the night!
Cancer Support Scotland has received a fantastic donation of £2,000 from The Rotary Club of Auchterader & District. On Thursday 23rd August, Rotary Club of Auchterarder & District held a golf event and raised £2,000 in aid of Cancer Support Scotland. The Chief Executive of the charity Colin Graham attended the event and met Brian Cashin, a member of the Rotary Club to collect the cheque.

Glasgow Hawks helped us by raising money for Cancer Support Scotland at one of their matches. They beat Heriots Rugby Club 19-13 and raised £214.40 for us in the process!
The Glasgow Rotary Club used its centennial celebrations as an opportunity to raise money for Cancer Support Scotland and held a fundraising golf event. Over 120 members of the club took part in an amateur tournament at Pollok Golf Club and managed to raise £6000 for Cancer Support Scotland!
Carol Moran and her husband Michael held a local charity fundraiser night to help raise money for Cancer Support Scotland. They started The Moran Breast Cancer Society when Carol was diagnosed with cancer. As users of Cancer Support Scotland they have been involved in many successful fundraising events over the years. This particular fundraiser was held at the Columba Club in Renfrew and raised a total of £4,500 for Cancer Support Scotland!
One of our therapists May Tierney held her own fundraiser at home and invited friends and family round for a Supper Night. For £10 they were all treated to a three-course meal, washed down with wine, and to complete the night they all enjoyed a dance-off on the Wii. May managed to raise £100 for us!
A huge well done and thank you to David Harvey, Jinty Shields, Nikki Johnston and Robert Callaghan for organising and taking part in a fundraising cycle round Millport on August 18th.
