Our Partnership with Macmillan and Glasgow Libraries
We have launched a new service for May 2014 at Elder Park Library in Govan. We hope that this will extend the reach of our services and help those affected by cancer gain easier access to our therapies.
We are delighted that in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Glasgow Libraries we also provide our Talking and Complementary Therapies from various libraries and centres in the Glasgow area. These services ensure that anyone can receive the support that they need within their local community.
When and where our services are available.
* Please note that the Mitchell Library Talking Therapy Service is currently on hold whilst we recruit a new counsellor.
This is part of the macmillan@thelibraries service.

The Macmillan and Glasgow Life Library programme offers Chi Gung classes at a variety of locations including our Calman Centre every Thursday from 5-6pm. Chi Gung is a practice of aligning breath and movement, with mental and spiritual awareness. It is a soft practice designed to be carried out without the need of special clothes or equipment. This service needs to be booked through Macmillan. Find out more about the Chi Gung services here.
